  1. This utility is designed to quickly test for the presence, size and proper operation of a Level 2 cache in the current series of Power Macintoshes (6100, 7100, and 8100). The program should correctly detect the size of a 256K, 512K, or 1024K cache, provided that the program is run with VIRTUAL MEMORY OFF (this is a program limitation which hopefully will be removed in later versions).

  3. This program (version 0.12) is preliminary, and operation is not guaranteed!
  4. If you attempt to run this program with Virtual Memory ON the results are inaccurate.

  6. This program will not run on 68K based Macintoshes.
